About This Project

Creating immersive Art @ Art, Science and Technology

. ONGOING

The goal of this project is transforming some of the networks of the first project into art pieces, organizing an immersive, multimedia exhibition, so that people can be amazed and involved in the most beautiful and pure art form: Life.

Art and science are two expressions of human creativity that have intertwined and influenced each other throughout history. Since ancient times, artists and scientists have tried to represent and understand the world around them, using different but complementary tools. Art and science have shared the same evolutionary origin, as the ability to formulate abstract thought and develop a complex representation of reality.

An emblematic example of the union between art and science is Leonardo da Vinci, the Renaissance genius who ranged between painting, engineering, anatomy, mathematics, theater, music and much more. Leonardo used science to perfect his art, studying perspective, light, color, movement and nature. At the same time, he used art to improve and communicate his science, precisely drawing his observations, inventions and experiments.

Today, art and science continue to dialogue and stimulate each other, in an increasingly complex and interconnected world. Art can be a source of inspiration for science, other times instead it is science at the service of art.

They are two different ways of discovering, exploring reality and manipulating symbols, so that they can collaborate to create new forms of expression and knowledge, as demonstrated by the works of artists who use technology, biology, physics or mathematics to realize their visions.

The union between art and science is therefore strategic for the present and the future, because it helps us explore, interpret and transform the world we live in, with a systemic and multidisciplinary vision. Definitely they can contribute to the progress and well-being of humanity.

The goal of this project is transforming some of the networks into art pieces, showing them in an immersive, multimedia exhibition, so that people can be amazed and involved in the most beautiful and pure art form: Life.

The way the exhibition will take place is very innovative: the content and some methods are not disclosed yet, but the spectator will be involved in a new way. Let’s say… he will be at the center!

Time target for project completion: 3-4 years
